Privacy policy

Last updated: September 2026 — the German version is legally binding.

1. Controller

Responsible for data processing on this website: A. Griskevicius, Germany. Email: [email protected].

2. The short version

Grisdex works without an account and currently uses no cookies, no tracking, and no analytics or advertising services. Only data technically required to operate the website is processed.

3. Server log files

When you visit the site, the hosting provider (servers in the EU) automatically processes technical access data (including IP address, date and time, requested page, browser identifier). This is technically required to deliver and secure the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is automatically deleted after a short period. It is not combined with other data.

Cloudflare (a content delivery network) is used to secure and speed up the website; for technical reasons it processes visitors' IP addresses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Content embedded from third-party servers

Card images and set logos load from the TCGdex image server (assets.tcgdex.net); Pokémon sprites and artwork load from the PokéAPI sprite repository (raw.githubusercontent.com, GitHub). When loading these images your browser necessarily transmits your IP address to the respective server. This embedding is based on our legitimate interest in displaying the content (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Cookies and local storage

This website currently sets no cookies. Your color-scheme choice (light/dark) is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never transmitted to us.

Once account and collection features launch, strictly necessary session cookies will be used (for example to keep you signed in). Such essential cookies do not require consent; this policy will be updated accordingly.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) (Art. 21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

7. Privacy contact

For any privacy request, an informal email to [email protected] is sufficient.
